Cloverleaf Baptist Church began as a group of people felt the desire to have their own neighborhood church in the commuity of Cloverleaf. Cloverleaf Farms Additions was established in 1936 to accommodate the growing railroad industry employees and families and soon after the people wanted their own home church. Their dream would soon become reality. A group of people met on Sunday September 20, 1942 with an advisory council to organize Cloverleaf Baptist Church. Many surrounding area churches participated in the development of the church. There were 49 charter members that started out in a borrowed tent to worship as Cloverleaf Baptist. Over the years the church as experienced many changes. The church strives to continue to reach out to the people of the community and represent Jesus Christ according to His word.
